The Laws of the Universe: Money

There are many laws that govern the universe we live in. There are laws around money. One of the keys to financial freedom is saving money.

What I have observed...it is difficult to think about tomorrow when you are scrambling to survive for today. How many people do you know that operate in financial crisis mode? On a daily, weekly, monthly basis?

Saving is a concept known as pay yourself first. Making sure you set aside money to prepare for the future. This can be done in many ways such as adding money to an IRA or having your employer deduct a specific amount of money every pay period to a 401k.

For the entrepreneur, there are plans that allow you to set aside money for future retirement. Such as the SEP, Keogh, etc.

The point is to set the money aside, never touch it, let it grow to lay the foundation for retirement and live on the rest of your income.

I challenge you to start saving 10% of your yearly income and gradually increase this to 20% or more.

Use the power of compounding interest to mass wealth and financial security.

Be a student; learn and understand how to attract money into your life. For money comes to those who want it, handle it with care and manage it well.

Be honest with yourself....do you attract or repel money from your life? Do you handle it with care? Appreciate the resourcefulness it brings into your life? Or spend extravagantly? Do you spend for today not knowing where the money will come from tomorrow??

Entrepreneur or employee: Start preparing for the future! You deserve to have the best future possible.

The Key to Starting a Home Based Business: Learning Letters

There is nothing more satisfying than spending time with my soon to be 4 year old granddaughter. She will be starting pre-school in the fall. And she has taken an interest in learning to write her letters and numbers.
I was able to find workbooks at the local dollar store as well as templates to help her learn to write. Everytime we are together, she asks to write.
Of course as adults, we have been writing in print and cursive for so long, we forget how much practice it takes.
Haylee has had to learn how to correctly hold the pencil, master eye/hand coordination, control the pencil to make the proper shape.
All of these little steps when put together, allow us the freedom to write individual letters that become words. While words become sentences. Sentences become paragraphs. Paragraphs become reports, books, emails, etc. Our primary form to communicate with the world.
And it is with starting a business. Taking small steps and learning things we have not done before. Putting all of the pieces of the marketing puzzle together. Until our business has become a fine tuned instrument. Providing music to the ears and eyes of our clients. Giving them what they want so we in turn as the entrepreneur can have what we want.
I encourage to move forward small step by small step. As Haylee will eventually learn to master the written word; so too will you have the home based business you dream of. To work from home, be there for your family, replace your income and leave your corporate job.

Home Base Business Success: Discipline

Some think of discipline as self control. The ability to restrain or control your own impulses. Something that is forced or enforced.

Discipline is the ability to make yourself do what you should, when you should, whether or not you feel like it.

How well do you discipline yourself?

For those of you in the corporate world, discipline is key to starting your business. The discipline to follow one step after another no matter how scared or skeptical you are. No matter how many times you fail. You keep moving forward until you reach success.

For some this may be months; for others years. Regardless of the time needed to reach the desired level of success, discipline will get you there.
